How it works?

The constituents present in this gel helps provide relief from various skin orders and fights infection completely. Regular application provides relief from itching, redness and burning sensation due to infection.

Clobetasol works on several skin disorders and auto immune diseases such as lichen planus, vitiligo, alopecia, and T-cell skin lymphoma.

Dosage information

Apply only a small amount of the Topinate cream on the infected area. Evenly distribute the medicine and that too without exerting any pressure. Do not bandage the affected area, unless directed by the health care professional. Wash your hands after the application. the length of the course usually lasts up to 2 weeks, however if the infection dose not cure, doctor might add to this.

What if you miss a dose?

Try not to miss the dose, if you do, apply the cream as soon as you remember. Make sure that you do not take two doses at a time. 

What if you overdose?

Although, in this care the overdose is rare, make sure that you consult your doctor if this occurs. Make sure that you do not use more than 50 gm in a week.

Things to be taken care of

Topinate is not recommended for children as it could slow down their growth rate, if it needs to be applied, go in for regular growth checkups. Patients suffering from diabetes, kidney problems or epilepsy need to notify the doctor before using this medicine. This medicine should not be used by pregnant and breast feeding mothers unless instructed by the doctor. If suffering from any kind of infection, inform your doctor about it to avoid any complication from occurring. If taking medicine for hypertension or hepatic failure, inform doctor about the entire medicine history before using this medicine.

Side Effects

Common side effects that could bother you are:

§  Hives

§  Skin thickening or thinning

§  Skin discoloration

§  Redness

§  Skin burning

§  Swelling on face, lips or mouth

Any of these symptoms if noticed need to be immediately reported to the doctor for medical supervision.

Interaction with other drugs

Topinate might interact with certain medicines and you need to inform your doctor in case you are taking any medicine, dietary supplement or even an herbal preparation. If you have measles, chickenpox or tuberculosis or have had it in the recent past inform doctor about the vaccines taken to avoid any interactions from occurring. If allergic to any food item or any antibiotic notify the same to your doctor.
