Theo Asthalin SR – 4mg +200mg contains generic drugs named Salbutamol Sulphate Theophylline.  It is mainly prescribed for asthma and breathing problems. Some of the patients suffer from severe wheezing due to bronchospasm, in such cases autohalers and nebulizers are used. What if you miss a dose?

If you happen to miss a dose, see that the dose is not doubled. Especially if you are nearing to the next dose then try to skip the missed dose and go for the routine daily course of dose resume. 

What if you overdose?

Due to some reason you happen to miss a dose and realize after about 5 to 6 hours then you need to consult your doctor or else leave the dose and proceed for the next dose routing. Never try to double up the dose if you have forgotten.

Things to be taken care of

Do not use the expired drugs always keep a check on the date of expiry.

Asthalin is supposed to be taken on long term management of breathing case. It is therefore not used in a very acute case.

You are required to keep the complete record of the medicines you are taking along with Asthlin.
