This drug is most often called as Isosorbide Dinitrate which belongs to a class of drugs known as nitrates. It dilates (widens) blood vessels, providing a clear passage for the blood flow which in turn helps heart to pump blood easily. It is mainly prescribed for the treatment of angina (chest pain). Important information about Isosorbide Dinitrate
