How  Novamox AX Tablet (Amoxicillin and Ambroxol) Works:

  • Novamox AX Tablet is a combination of Amoxicillin and Ambroxol which treat respiratory tract infections associated with excessive mucus (phlegm).

  • Amoxicillin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing them from creating their own protective covering, and

  • Ambroxol is a mucolytic which loosens and thins mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Addition of Ambroxol with Amoxicillin also enhances the antibacterial effect of Amoxicillin.
