How it works

The main active ingredient of Beclate rotacaps 100/100 mcg is Beclomethasone dipropionate. This is used to prevent and treat wheezing caused due to asthma. It should be used regularly to cure breathing problems and asthma. When it is used with inhaler, it goes directly into the lungs and very little of it goes into the rest of the body thus breathing becomes easier and in turn cures asthma. Eventually, there are fewer chances of side effects.

Important information about Beclomethasone dipropionate

Priming is required before the first time use. It should be stored between 59 degrees to 86 degrees.  For the best results it should be kept at room temperature when it is in use. It should be tightly closed. If you face any allergy then you should stop taking the medicine and seek immediate medical advice from the doctor or the pharmacist.

Dosage information

The usual dosage is to use the inhalers 2 to 4 times a day in each nostril. Generally, the spray is used one or two sprays each day 2 to 4 times. It varies widely according to a few factors like age and other medical problems. For children of age 5 to 11 years, 40 mcg is given twice a day. For children 6 to 12 years, 1 inhalation in each nostril is recommended.

It is available in Beclomethasone dipropionate 40 mcg, 80 mcg and 100 mcg strength.

What if you miss a dose?

If you missed a dose, it should be taken whenever you realize about it. But take it into mind that the dose should not be doubled. There should be gap of few hours between two doses.

What if you overdose?

If you have taken over dose, then you should consult the doctor or pharmacist immediately.

Things to be taken care of

Read the instructions before starting the medicine. After every treatment your face should be rinsed properly. It should be avoided to spray it in the eyes. Breathe out how much you can do very comfortably. Consult with the doctor if you face any symptom which can create worries.

Side Effects

Some times, it may cause few side effects to the lips, tongue, face or throat. If the medicine has any side effect on you, you should get emergency medical help as soon as possible. Several side effects which can occur are:

Interaction with other drugs
