This drug has a generic
name Permethrin, which is an anti fungal cream used for
the treatment of scabies, a contagious skin condition ( often termed as intense
allergic itching) caused by a tiny mite called sarcoptes scabiei. It belongs to
a family of drugs called as pyrethins. This medication starts its functionality
by paralyzing and destroying the mites and their eggs.
It is sold under various trade names; some of them are Acticin
and Permite (made by Gladerma) and is available in cream form. It can
