ALBUCID Eye Drops fight
bacterial infection in the eyes. This medicine works by fighting the infection
and also helps the patient recover from the symptoms of infection including
redness in eyes and swelling. This medicine works on eye infections such as
chronic bacterial conjunctivitis, corneal ulcer and acute conjunctivitis.
How
it works?
This medicine contains a
broad spectrum of antimicrobial agents that fight against both gram positive
and gram negative microorganisms. This antibiotic prevents the growth of
bacteria by inhibiting the synthesis of folic acid and thus stops its
production by binding wit para amino benzoic acid.

Sulfacetamide Opthalmic
is an anti-bacterial medicine used for treating infection in the eyes caused by
susceptible strains. When applied, this medicine works against pathogens such
as Escherichia coli, staphylococcus aureus, haemophillus influenza, streptococcus,
enterbacter and klebsiella species.
Dosage

It is recommended to take
one to three drops on the affected area every two hours. Doctor will decide on
the dosage looking into the type and severity of infection. Always make sure
that you take the dosage prescribed by the doctor.
