This drug has a generic name Spironolactone, which is a potassium-sparing diuretic (water pill) that start its action by preventing body from absorbing too much salt and to keep the potassium level decrease in a steady way. Interaction with other drugs

Many other drugs can interact with Spironolactone and causes serious side effects. The following drugs: lithium, digoxin, steroids, ACE inhibitors, NSAIDs.
