Ciplin is an antibiotic
that is quite effective against various bacterial infections such as
Escherichia coli, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, Staphylococcus epidermidis,
Bacteroides fragilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, N.Gonorrhea, Haemophilus
influenza, Staphylococcus saprophyticus and N.Syphilis.
How
it works?
Ciplin restricts and
prevents the growth of bacteria by inhibiting folic acid synthesis. This
antibiotic binds with PABA and this ends the folic acid production. In this
way, the growth of bacteria stops.

Sulphamethoxazole
Trimethoprim is a synthetic antimicrobial drug with a broad spectrum
bactericidal action. This antibiotic is active against gram positive bacteria.
This medicine is used for treating Urinary tract infections, Sexually
transmitted diseases, Pharyngitis, Bronchitis, Sinusitis, skin structure
infections, Traveler’s diarrhea and acute otitis media.
