Ciplin is an antibiotic that is quite effective against various bacterial infections such as Escherichia coli, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Bacteroides fragilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, N.Gonorrhea, Haemophilus influenza, Staphylococcus saprophyticus and N.Syphilis.

Ciplin restricts and prevents the growth of bacteria by inhibiting folic acid synthesis. This antibiotic binds with PABA and this ends the folic acid production. In this way, the growth of bacteria stops.
