used to treat gonorrhea and lyme disease.

interfering with the formation of bacterial cell wall causing the wall to
rupture finally killing the bacteria.

Cefuroxime is a semi
synthetic cephalosporin antibiotic that is usually prescribed for bacterial
infections of lungs, ears, skin, throat and urinary tract.
Dosage
information
In adults, the
recommended dosage of this medicine ranges of 125mg to 3gm a day; however the
doctor would adjust the dosage looking into the type of infection and is
spread.

What
if you miss a dose?
Do not miss a dose; try
to take the dose on time. In case you have accidentally skipped the dose, take
it as soon as you remember.
What
if you overdose?
Do not overdose as this
might lead to severe toxicity. In case, you feel uncomfortable or notice symptoms
such as nausea or vomiting, call up the poison center or medical emergency
center for help.

provider if you are pregnant, lactating or trying to conceive before taking
this medicine. If taking any non-prescription drug or any health supplement,
inform your doctor about this. In case, you are allergic to any drug or
Cefuroxime inform your doctor as this will help him or her figure out an
alternative. If suffering from any blood related ailment, asthma or any kind of
intestinal infection tell your doctor about this before you begin taking
Cefuroxime. If you are hypersensitive to amoxicillin and beta-lactam antibiotic
needs to inform this to the doctor before taking this medicine.

antibiotic, this medicine too has some side effects that could bother few and

Interaction
with other drugs
Cetil might interact with
cyclosporine, furosemide, birth control pills and aminoglycosides. If taking
any of these medicines, inform your doctor and ask him or her to find you an
alternate. Do not start taking any new medicine while taking Cetil and make
sure that you complete the course. Avoid taking antacid before the medicine as
this might reduce the rate of absorption.
