How it works

Beclate inhale 200 mcg contains an active ingredient namely Beclomethasone, which is used to prevent and cure wheezing caused by asthma. It goes directly into the lungs and makes breathing easier after reducing irritation of airways. Read the manufacturer’s leaflet before starting the treatment. Remember the colour of the inhaler and for the attack symptoms  use reliever inhaler. If the children are using it, it may slow down the growth so need proper care of usage.

Important information about Beclomethasone Dipropionate

It must be used regularly to treat breathing problems. It is not recommended to get relief from asthmas attack. Before taking it, you should be told to the doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or having any kind of allergy, or taking any other medicine. If you have fungal or nose infection do not use it. Keep this thing in mind that doctor has recommended you this medicine by considering that risk involved are less than its benefits and without side effects. So if you face any problem, immediately consult the doctor.

Dosage information

Its usual dosage depends on the severity of the disease. It is required on regular basis. Don’t get the change in the schedule of dosage without doctor’s prescription. For adults, 2 inhalations of 40 mcg are recommended twice a day. But it should be not exceeded 640 mcg. If little dose does not produce any result then the dosage may be increased. For children over 12 year 2 dosage of 40 mcg is advisable.

Strengths available

It is available in 40 mcg, 80 mcg and 200 mcg strength.

What if you miss a dose?

If you missed the dose, it is recommended to take it as and when you remember. But if it is about to take second dose just avoid it. Double dose together is not at all advisable.

What if you overdose?

If you took the overdose of medicine, it should not be taken lightly. Rather contact a poison control centre or consult doctor/pharmacist.
