Azee is an antibiotic that is used to treat a huge
variety of bacterial infections.

Azee stops the bacteria from growing and immune system
destroys it completely.

information about Medicine
Azithromycin is used to
treat bacterial infections in respiratory and urinary tract, ears, skin and
soft tissues.
Dosage
information
Generally, a dosage of 250mg to 500mg is recommended daily
for at least three days to get completely rid of the infection. However, in
genital infections a dosage of 1000mg is recommended on daily basis. It is best
to let the doctor decide on the dosage looking into the severity of infection.

What
if you miss a dose?
Make sure that you do not miss on the dose, in case, if
you miss on the dose, take it when you remember. When taking the missed dosage,
ensure that the time to next dosage should be of at least 5 to 8 hours.
What
if you overdose?
Do not overdose, in case you take multiple doses; inform
your local poison center or medical emergency center. If you notice symptoms
such as vomiting, headache, dizziness or loss of concentration, inform your
doctor.
Things
to be taken care of
Always inform your doctor if you plan to conceive, are
pregnant or breast feeding before taking this medicine. If you have an allergy
or if you are sensitive to antibiotics, notify your doctor about this before
you start with Azee. If using any supplement or herbal product, try avoiding
using it during the course of this medicine. Do not use any prescription or
non-prescription drugs with this medicine as it could lead to reactions and
shoot up your sensitivity levels.
Side
Effects
Although no major side effects have been reported so far,
the mild to moderate ones include flatulence, abdominal pains, nausea,
despepsia, rashes, difficulty breathing, abnormal heart rate, vaginal
inflammation, gastritis, constipation, gollitis and chest pain. None of these
symptoms should be taken lightly and are to be reported to the doctor
immediately.
Interaction
with other drugs
Although, no major interactions have been reported,
products such as birth control pills, antacids, herbal formulations and mineral
supplements can interfere in the working of this product. Drug called ribafutin
should not be taken with Azee as this could lead to serious interactions. Make
sure that you do not change the medicine or start with a new one while taking
Azee as this could bring down the absorption rate. If you have been taking a
live bacterial vaccine, inform this to your doctor as the constituents might
react with this medicine. If on an allergy medicine, do not take this medicine
until instructed by the doctor.
